Disneyland Hotel Review

The Disneyland Hotel in Hong Kong is one of the best hotels we have been. It is situated almost a mile from the theme park of Disneyland (just a walking distance). The overall style of this hotel is more of Victorian, which is similar to that of Disneyland Hotel in Orlando Florida.
While strolling, we saw Disney characters all over the place. When we arrived at the hotel, different classic characters were staring at us. Their carpets have pictures of characters from different movies produced by Disney.
Because all of us were tired when we arrived, we truly appreciated the area near the check-in section where we could sit down. While we completed the process for check-in, the kids were watching cartoons.
ABOUT THE ROOMS
Most rooms at Disneyland Hotel in Hong Kong could accommodate at least 4 guests. The rooms that we had were spacious and had a lovely balcony.
STAFF
The hotel’s staff was very polite and each could speak in multiple languages.
FOOD
The food was great. The buffet service has all food types that we like. The best thing of it all was the visit by the Disney characters. That time, the kids met Mickey Mouse. We were hoping that Prince Naveen would be there as well.
OVERALL EXPERIENCE
We enjoyed our stay at Disneyland Hotel, even though a few days of staying here left a little hole in our wallet. It may not be a cheap place to eat and dine but it is all worth it.

Tourists from the Philippines and other nearby countries may not need a visa to enter Hong Kong. However, they must show their passport upon arrival.
TRAVEL
It only takes one to two hours to reach Hong Kong from the Philippines. From the Hong Kong International Airport to Disneyland Hotel, you need to take a train or a coach service to reach the park and the hotel.
CURRENCIES
The currencies accepted at Disneyland Hotel are Hong Kong dollars and Renminbi. If you run out of dollars, you can exchange currency at the hotel’s front desk. Or you can use credit cards, such as VISA, Master, CUP, JCB, and American Express.
By staying at Disneyland Hotel, you can experience the charm of the Victorian era with a Disney style.
NOTE: We had our stay at Disneyland Hotel about a year ago.
